Spencer, IA (KICD)– We are less than a month away from the start of the “Worlds Greatest County Fair” which has crews from a number of different industries really turning their attention to preparation.

Spencer Public Works Director Mark White says his crew is already hard at work making the grounds not only look good but operate properly.

The Clay County Fair Powered by SMU runs September 9th through the 17th and the Spencer Radio Group will be there all nine days broadcasting from the Depot building, the home of the Smokey Mountain Central Railroad.
