Storm Lake, IA (KICD)– The 50th Anniversary RAGBRAI is only about three months away and organizers have announced how riders will be getting in and out of Storm Lake, the first overnight stop for 2023.
Carl Turner is the Storm Lake RAGBRAI Chairman. He tells KICD News there is still a big need for volunteers when the rider come into town in July and there is a bit of an added incentive for non-profit organizations to help.
Turner adds the recent approval by the Storm Lake City Council to allow food trucks and other mobile vendors to operate on public property is a big game changer when it comes to planning for an event like RAGBRAI.
