Washington D.C. (KICD)– Senator Joni Ernst is helping lead the charge to overturn a recently passed law in California that ultimately controls how livestock is raised in Iowa.

The effort to change the practices set forth the California ballot initiative is called Exposing Agricultural Trade Suppression Act which essentially will keep a body of government from interfering with the agricultural practices of another state.

Ernst is co-leading this effort with fellow Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas.
