Sheldon, IA (KICD)– Authorities in Sheldon are investigating after a small fire was found in a church restroom Monday afternoon.

The Sheldon Fire Department was called to Faith Community Church around 1:15 for a report of smoke being seen coming the restroom area where crews then found a fire in a small trash can with damage being contained to that container.

Officials are not releasing any additional information at this time other than saying the incident remains under investigation.
