Sheldon, IA (KICD)– Voters in the Sheldon Community School District will decide the fate of a bond referendum when they go to the polls for the City and School Elections on November 7th.
Superintendent Cory Myer says the bond will help cover building projects within the district.
The bond itself, if approved, will cover over a little over fifty percent of the total expected cost.
Meyer says the idea to try for a bond is motivated by a series of different circumstances.
If the bond passes in November, the timeline includes about two years of construction before the project would be complete.
