Wilder, MN (KICD)– A Sioux Falls man has been charged in an alleged road rage incident last week in Southwest Minnesota.
A criminal complaint says a Deputy with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was called to Highway 60 near Wilder early Friday afternoon learning a female victim had reportedly been boxed in by another vehicle with the male driver actively attacking the victim’s car with a baseball bat.
Prior to police arrival, the victim alleges the suspect vehicle had pushed her vehicle into some weeds and threw some large pieces of concrete at her car.
A short time later, police were able to locate the suspect identified as 33-year-old James Burrage charging with making threats of violence and first-degree criminal damage to property.
Burrage alleges the incident occurred after the victim had been following him on multiple occasions and pointed a firearm in his direction.
Law enforcement has also learned a similar incident occurred earlier that day to a second victim who was traveling from Worthington to Windom.
