Sioux Rapids Residents Asked To Conserve Water

Buena Vista County Emergency Management is asking residents in Sioux Rapids to conserve water.

Officials noted on Facebook, that while the water tower is currently full, but if it runs dry during the flooding a water outage could last much longer.

Buena Vista County Emergency Management asks the following of all Sioux Rapids residents.

• Limit Flushing Toilets
• Avoid Dishwashing
• Don’t Wash Laundry
• Only Take Short Showers

Emergency Management Officials have put in a request for bottled water for the community, More info on when and where the water will be available will be shared later.
