Milford, IA (KICD) — The Milford fire department was dispatched around noon Monday to a residence on Clover Lane. Chief Jim Carpenter says a police officer arrived first and kept the fire from spreading before the fire crew could arrive.

The fire department remained on scene for about an hour.
