Mankato, Mn (KICD) – The Spencer Track and Field teams competed at the MSU Varsity Showcase in Mankato, Minnesota on Saturday.

Here are the top KICD area finishers in the Girls meet. Spencer’s Jerra Merchant collected another win in the 60m hurdles. Spencer’s 4x800m relay team of Morey, Morey, Palmer, and Schoelerman was 3rd. Spencer’s Erika Amendt was 3rd in the 400m Dash with teammate Jerra Merchant placing 4th. Spirit Lake’s Katelyn Krieger was 5th in the 800m Run. Spencer’s Peyton Morey was 3rd in the 3200m run. Spencer’s Jerra Merchant was 6th in the 200m Dash.

Here are the top KICD area finishers in the Boys meet. Spencer’s Weston Johnson was 4th in the 60m Hurdles with teammate Sam Hinkeldey taking 5th. Spirit Lake’s Qamerin Hussey was 4th in the 400m Dash. The Spencer 4x200m Relay team of Robbins, Wessels, Timmer, and Berends took 2nd. Spirit Lake’s Qamerin Hussey was 4th in the 200m Dash. Spencer’s 4x400m Relay team of Timmer, Pitts, Berends, and Carlson placed 3rd.
