Spencer, Ia (KICD) – The Spencer Tiger Boys Golf team took on Spirit Lake Tuesday afternoon at the Spencer Golf and Country Club. KICD was there for the coverage. It was a succesful day for the Tigers, not only winning the dual 163 strokes to Spirit Lake’s 179, but also taking the top 4 individual spots. Kaden Miller was the Medalist with a 37, and he got his round off to a good start.

Tyler Storey came in second with a 41. Storey said the best part of his game on Tuesday was the drive.

Coach Marc Bruning has been happy with how the top end of his team has played so far this season, and was really impressed by Thobe Moeller’s performance on Tuesday.

Bruning talked about the things he saw that Spencer needs to work on the most while he was making his rounds on the course.

The Spencer Tigers are back in action for their home Tournament on Monday April 17th in Spencer.
