Spencer, Ia (KICD) – The Spencer Boys Soccer team hosted Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley on Monday afternoon at the Northwest Iowa Soccer Field. Spencer applied some nice pressure early, but it was Brady Vreeman coming up to break the ice on the scoreboard just under 11 minutes in.
Keegan Musser made the score 2-0 a little over 12 minutes later for his 2nd goal of the year.
The Tigers would take a halftime lead at 2-0. Cayden Brewer wouldn’t take much time to start the Spencer scoring in the second-half, socring his 4th goal on the year and making it 3-0.
It would be Iain MaCrae extending the lead with 18:46 to play.
Sophomore Nolan McCusker capped off the day with his team leading 5th goal of the year, making it 5-0 off of an assist from Brewer.
Spencer cruised to the 5-0 win and are off to a 4-0 start to the 2024 campaign and 2-0 in the NWISL. Up next for the Tigers will be Sioux Center on Thursday in Spencer.
