Heron Lake, MN (KICD) — A semi driven by a Spencer man entered the ditch near the Heron Lake exit on Interstate 90 this week.

Jackson County Sheriff Shawn Haken says the 63 year old driver – still unidentified – was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s believed he had a medical condition that caused the accident. No other vehicles were involved.

The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon around 2. Lakefield fire and ambulance assisted at the scene. The Minnesota State Patrol covered the accident, but has not released their report yet.
