Sioux City, IA (KICD)– A Spencer man with a history of drug distribution has pled guilty to a federal charge.
57-year-old Todd Williams entered the plea last week on one count of possession of methamphetamine with intent deliver after having been convicted of conspiracy to manufacture and distribute the drug back in 2004.
Evidence presented in court showed the execution of a search warrant in March yielded nearly three pounds of methamphetamine and 50 thousand dollars in cash. Williams was later arrested following a high speed pursuit when he failed to pull over for a traffic stop.
Williams will be sentenced at a later date and faces the possibility of life in prison and a twenty million dollar fine.
