Spencer, IA (KICD) — The Spencer City council took another step toward making the Aquatic Center property a full outdoor recreation campus this week.
Park and Rec Director Bob Fulhart says the disc golf course has already been moved there from its original spot in West Leach Park where it used to flood.

The city received a one thousand dollar grant from the Clay County Foundation recently to help enhance what’s already in place.

What used to be known as “Frisbee” Golf has grown into a sport with leagues and people who travel from town to town to play different courses.
