Sioux City, Ia (KICD) – Here is a look at the action from around Northwest Iowa on Friday night.

On News Radio 102.5 and AM 1240 KICD the Spencer Tigers hit the road to play Sioux City West, with each team looking for their first win on the year.

It was all Tigers from beginning to end in this one.

Spencer was lead in rushing by Adrian Carrillo who carried the ball 6 times for 57 yards and 3 Touchdowns. The Tigers had 252 yards on the ground with 9 different players recording rushes.

Sioux City West’s Shamar Harrell ran the ball 12 times for 72 yards and a touchdown.

Spencer improves to 1-6 on the year and 1-2 in Class 4A District 1. The Tigers will match up with Storm Lake next week in the final home game of the year.

Sioux City West drops to 0-7 on the season and 0-3 in Class 4A District 1. Next up for the Wolverines is Fort Dodge on the road.

Elsewhere in Class 4A District 1, LeMars won against Fort Dodge 42-7, and Denison-Schleswig routed Storm Lake 41-13.
