Spencer IA, (KICD)— At last week’s board of directors for Spencer Schools there was a discussion about a new joint parking lot project with SMU.  The need for the park lot new comes from a recent finding that part of their parking lot was owned by the railroad and that the railroad is willing to lease the land back.  

Albrecht says the project has similarities to the tennis court project.  

If all goes through, they would like to start this summer.
