Spencer, IA (KICD)–A Spencer woman will be arraigned later this month after being accused of stealing several thousand dollars worth of merchandise from two local stores.
Court records show 64-year-old Julie Fisher was arrested in October by the Spencer Police Department after she allegedly pushed a cart full of items that had not been paid for out of the local Walmart.
This was reportedly the second such incident in as many days with Fisher reportedly being caught trying to take more than two thousand dollars worth of merchandise from Hy-Vee.
Fisher stands charged with second and third degree theft, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and possession of contraband in a correctional facility. She is scheduled to enter her plea next Monday.
