Spencer, Ia (KICD) – Another Spencer Football Player will be heading to the Great Plains Athletic Conference. Ben Kroll inked his letter of intent to join the Mount Marty Lancers Thursday morning at Spencer High School.

Kroll has a family connection to Mount Marty.

Mount Marty offensive line coach Heath Zuck was impressed with the way Kroll played the Center position in Spencer’s offense.

Spencer Football Coach Jim Tighe looked back on Kroll’s career, pointing out the improvements he made, as well as his hard work in the classroom.

Kroll’s academic success was also something that Coach Zuck pointed out about the Lancer’s latest addition.

Like many of his teammates, some of Kroll’s favorite high school memories were the Mason City and Webster City games.
