Spirit Lake, IA (KICD)– A Spirit Lake man accused of sexual abuse in three local counties has changed his plea as part of a deal made with prosecutors.

54-year-old Stacy Lind pled guilty earlier week to third degree sexual abuse in Clay, Dickinson and Osceola Counties just days before his first trial was set to begin.

Lind was originally arrested in October and additionally charged with incest and lascivious acts with a child in all three locations along with child endangerment in Dickinson and Osceola Counties. The alleged offenses, according to online court records, date back between June and October of 2021.
