Fort Dodge, Ia (KICD) – The State Softball Tournament Wrapped up to end the 2022-23 Sports Year on Friday in Fort Dodge.

In Class 1A, Wayne would win the 3rd Place game 7-2 over Clarksville. The Class 1A State Champion is North Linn, who beat Martensdale-St. Mary’s 6-0 in the Championship Game.

For Class 2A, Central Springs beat Interstate 35 10-0 in the 3rd Place game. The Class 2A State Champion is Regina Catholic of Iowa City, who beat Van Meter 6-2 in the Championship Game.

The Class 3A 3rd Place Game went to Estherville Lincoln Central, who beat Wahlert Catholic of Dubuque 4-2. The State Champion in Class 3A is Williamsburg, who shut out Assumption of Davenport 4-0 in the Championship game.
