Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — Iowa DNR Biologist Ben Wallace says the Racoon River Valley that feed Storm Lake has NOT seen the flooding the Little Sioux River Valley has created for Okoboji.

In fact, he says, they’re doing the annual herbicide treatment on some plants this week.

The plants are native to Storm Lake and NOT invasive species. The state and city split the cost of application.
