Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — Authorities have charged a 37 year old Storm Lake man for allegedly assaulting a woman and lighting her hair on fire. They say Jonathan Belcher had two previous domestic assault conviction in Alabama. They took him into custody Monday after a female said she was attacked earlier in the evening at a residence on West 6th Street and was able to escape.
He has been charged with 3rd offense Domestic Assault, 4th Degree Criminal Mischief, and reckless use of fire.
