Storm Lake, IA (KICD)– A Storm Lake man is facing multiple charges following the report of an assault Wednesday evening.

Storm Lake Police were originally called to an apartment in the 800 block of Erie Street around 9:45 and were met outside by the alleged victim and witnesses later also seeing 29-year-old Dacry Rapay exit the building carrying a knife.

Rapay is said to have begun approaching the victim when officers intervened and deployed a taser before taking Rapay into custody.

He was ultimately charged with going armed with intent, interfence with official acts, second degree criminal mischief, domestic abuse assault and public intoxication. He was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on 17-thousand dollars bond.
