Storm Lake, (IA) — A student at Storm Lake high school has decided to do a community service project through what’s called the “Silver Cord” program.
You might observe Joseph Rice in city parks over the next few weeks using a side-by-side utility vehicle and GPS equipment to map where park features are located. .
The city says there are numerous markers, approximately 200 bench and 150 picnic tables, and that cataloging and mapping them all will assist in future maintenance.
