The American Farm Bureau says the cost of feeding ten people at your 4th of July cookout will be 67 dollars and 73 cents this year. That’s 14 percent higher than two years ago, but down 3 percent from last summer.
Farm Bureau measures the price of twelve individual items each year. The price of beef is up 4 percent, potato salad is up five percent and the price for hamburger buns is up 17 percent. They say the price of chicken breast if 9 percent lower, potato chips are down 4 percent, and your lemonade is 16 percent lower.
