Spencer, IA (KICD)– A Spencer man is facing drug and other charges following a suspicious vehicle call just outside of town Wednesday evening.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a suspicious vehicle around six o’clock and were able to locate the locate 48-year-old Steven Marvin in the 2300 miles of 330th Street who originally denied driving the vehicle in question.
Further investigation led to Marvin being taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended, fraudulent use of registration and failing to provide proof of insurance.
Marvin was taken to the Clay County Jail to await his initial court appearance.
