Spencer, IA (KICD)– The Spencer Historic Preservation Committee is kicking off its annual lecture series Tuesday evening with a look inside a local business that actually helps us get around.

Eric Johnson will be talking about the history of Arnold Motor Supply that has had an impact on more than just areas around its two buildings on the southwest side of town.

Johnson says he will also have a visual aspect to help share some of the wealth of local history.

The HPC Lecture Series presentation of “EP Arnold and Arnold Motor Supply” will take place Tuesday at 5:30 in Council Chambers at Spencer City Hall and also stream live on the City of Spencer Facebook page.
