Spencer, IA (KICD)–A new guide to help visitors to Clay County is now available after nearly a year of work.

Oliva Baxter tells KICD ‘s Alex Johnson the guide features pieces about all of Clay County and its various communities.

Baxter explains that while this is the first edition to be made, it is not the first time the idea has surfaced over the years.

Baxter adds that this is just the first step in an ongoing process to promote Clay County as a whole.

Currently the tour guides are at hotels and the chamber and soon to be all over the county.
