Ledyard, IA (KICD)– Three people have been charged with multiple drug offenses following the execution of a search warrant in Kossuth County last week.

Law enforcement arrived to search the premises of the Ledyard home on Friday as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged illegal activity.

During the search, the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office reportedly seized numerous items known to be associated wtih illegal drug use including cash, controlled substances and firearms.

As a result 60-year-old Jeffrey Miller Sr., 35-year-old Jeffrey Miller and 53-year-old Sherri Gillis were all charged with gathering where drugs other than marijuana are used along with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The two Millers were additionally charged with possessing methamphetamine with intent to deliver and failure to affix a drug tax stamp. Gillis was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine, third or subsequent offense.

Police say additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
