Spencer, Ia (KICD) – The Spencer Boys Soccer team hosted MOC-Floyd Valley for senior night on Monday in Spencer at the Northwest Iowa Soccer Field.
The Tigers dominated all phases of the game, though it took them a little while to fire the offense up. Romeo Alvarez would find Cayden Brewer to get things started.
A few minutes later, after a few attempts at the goal, Mosher was able to force it through to give Spencer a 2-0 lead.
Late in the first half, Iain MaCrae would have an impressive goal from the Corner.
The Tigers would take that 3-0 lead in to the locker room.
The second half started pretty sluggish as well, but Cayden Brewer once again was able to get the offense rolling, and when he did, it was an avalanche by the Tigers.
Mosher made an impressive kick at a tough angle to grow the lead.
Blake Kooker would get in on the action as well late in the contest to match Spencer’s high for goals in a single game for the season.
The Tigers improve to 11-1 on the year and will wrap up League play. The Tigers will play Sioux City North later this week to wrap up the regular season.
