Spencer, IA (KICD)– The Town and Country Innovation Department will celebrate eight years of competition at this year’s Clay County Fair.

Beginning in 2015, the idea came from the back of every Successful Farmer magazine and showcases creations using made using new materials or those from recycled iron, wood and metal piles.

The Town and Country Innovation exhibits are judged on workmanship, usefulness, appearance, design and creativity and is open to entries from any county or state.

Pre-registration is recommended and can be completed online, or in-person through Monday. Those choosing not pre-register can submit their work on September 7th from 4-6 p.m.
