Des Moines, IA (KICD)– The summer travel season is starting to pick up with the Independence Day holiday upon us.

TSA spokesperson Jessica Mayle works at Iowa’s busiest airport and says the one key to successful air travel is to allow plenty of time.

Mayle says another issue TSA runs into is people unintentionally bringing items in their bags that are not allowed on airplanes.
