Spencer, IA (KICD) — An early Wednesday morning traffic stop in Clay County resulted in drug charges against an Emmetsburg man.

26 year old Alex Clark was the driver of a vehicle pulled over around 2:30am on highway 18. A search of the vehicle uncovered marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and an open container of beer. Clark was charged with 3rd offense possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, 2nd offense OWI, and was also served an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court on a domestic abuse charge.

A passenger – 25 year old Kinzer Gross of Sacramento, California – was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, open container, and public intoxication.
