Primghar, IA (KICD) — Two people have been charged with drug offenses following an O’Brien County traffic stop late last week.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office initiated the stop on Highway 59 south of Primghar Friday evening which resulted in 61-year-old James Kolbeck of Sterling, Colorado and 52-year-old Valorie Recker of Alton both being charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Kolbeck was further charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and also arrested on outstanding warrant.

Both individuals have preliminary hearings set for early December.
