Ireton, IA (KICD) — Both drivers in a Sioux County accident in which an Emmet County teenager received minor injuries have been charged in connection with the mishap.
The Sheriff’s department says 17 year old Danica Lundgren from Armstrong was Eastbound on highway 10 near Ireton shortly after midnight Sunday, when the pickup she was driving rearended a slow-moving vehicle ahead of her on the road. Lundgren was transported to the hospital in Hawarden with what were described as “minor” injuries. She was charged with following too close.
After investigating, the Sioux County Sheriff’s department also charged with driver of the other vehicle – 39 year old Alex Rodriguez Sevilla of Rock Valley – with OWI and failure to have a valid driver’s license.
