Spencer, IA (KICD) — A Spencer man was transported to Spencer Hospital with unspecified injuries after a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Department says Robert Raymer was Southbound in the 36 hundred mile of M-27 when his Subaru crossed the center line and struck the trailer of Northbound semi operated by Dustin Vander Bush – also of Spencer.
The sheriff’s department was assisted at the scene by the Iowa State Patrol, Everly and Royal Fire Departments, and Bud’s Service.
The accident occurred around 1:30pm. No charges have been filed at this time.

A Fenton woman was taken to the hospital in Fairmont after a collision there Thursday night. 47 year old Christine Laue was southbound on Minnesota Highway 15, and 30 year old Ashley Metteer of Welcome, Minnesota, was Westbound on Johnson Street when the two vehicles collided. The Minnesota State Patrol accident report says Laue received non-life-threatening injuries and does not indicate which part was at fault.
