Storm Lake, IA (KICD)– Two Northwest Iowans have been sentenced after being convicted of rioting.

22-year-old June Phiengasi of Schaller and 22-year-old Garbriel Catarino-Rodriguez of Storm Lake both pled guilty in February to felony participating in a riot.

Phiengasi was granted a deferred judgment last week with Catarino-Rodriguez being given two years on probation in lieu of jail time.
