Storm Lake, IA (KICD)– We are less than a week from the start of the 50th anniversary ride of RAGBRAI and the first overnight stop is still looking for volunteers.

Storm Lake committee chair Carl Turner says volunteers are needed for shifts lasting a couple of hours and they do not have to be from the local community.

There will also be plenty of musical entertainment for everyone to take in.

Turner adds there are some areas that those not directly participating in the ride may want to avoid.
