Spencer, Ia (KICD) – Here are Boys Wrestling scores from the weekend.

GTRA hosted their invitational on Saturday. Estherville Lincoln Central, North Union, Pocahontas Area, Sibley-Ocheyedan, and West Bend-Mallard attended from the KICD area.

KICD area individual Champions include Dawson Beyer of Sibley-Ocheyedan at 138, Layton Yager of Estherville Lincoln Central at 144, Easton Beyer of Sibley-Ocheyedan at 157, Brennan Bollinger of North Union at 215, and Michael Block of Sibley-Ocheyedan at 285.

Akron-Westfield came away with the team title with 175 points, just ahead of Estherville Lincoln Central’s 169. Sibley-Ochyedan finished 5th with 134, North Union a tie for 6th with Garner-Hayfield-Ventura at 124, Pocahontas Area was 8th with 114, GTRA finished 11th with 67 and West Bend-Mallard was 13th with 61.

Spencer was in Ames for the Jack Mendenhall Invitational.

The Tigers were not able to bring back any individual titles. Spencer finished 11th with 73.5 points. Fort Dodge won the Tournament with 195 points.

Sheldon/South O’Brien hosted the Orab Duals on Saturday. Sioux Central and Storm Lake were in attendance from the KICD area. Sheldon/South O’Brien lost to Logan-Magnolia 48-36 and Tracy-Milroy-Balaton-Westbrook-Walnut Grove 45-27. Sioux Central beat Logan-Magnolia 45-35 and lost to Tracy-Milroy-Balaton-Westbrook-Walnut Grove 57-17.

Emmetsburg and Okoboji/HMS attended the Clear Lake Invitational on Saturday.

Justin Wirtz of Emmetsburg won the 165 lb class while teammate Jace Nelson-Brown took 1st at 175. Emmetsburg would get a 3rd individual title from Gage Jorgenson at 285.

Algona won the Tournament with 236 points. Emmetsburg finished 3rd with 163 points and Okoboji/HMS was 7th with 85.

Cherokee and MMCRU were at the West Sioux Invitational.

There were no Individual champions from the KICD area.

West Central won the Tournament with 244.5 points. Cherokee took 7th with 114 and MMCRU was 9th with 47.
