Spencer, Ia (KICD) – Taking a look at scores from over the weekend.

1A and 2A Regional Softball Tournament Games were played Friday. For 1A Region 1, South O’Brien beat Gehlen Catholic 8-6, they will play Remsen St. Mary’s in Remsen next. 1A Region 2 had GTRA beat Harris-Lake Park 15-2. The Titans will see Glidden-Ralston in Glidden next. 2A Region 1 saw Sibley-Ocheyedan beat Central Lyon 8-4 and will play North Union in Armstrong next.

Quarterfinal Games for Class 1A and 2A will be played on Wednesday, July 7th.

In interconference Softball on Friday, Spirit Lke shut out Unity Christian 4-0.

Class 2A Substate Baseball Tournament Games were played on Saturday. In Class 2A Substate 1, Sioux Central beat Emmetsburg 7-6 and will advance to play at Estherville Lincoln Central next. Okoboji beat Sheldon 9-2 and will play Forest City in Estherville next. Sibley-Ocheyedan lost to West Sioux 6-3.

Quarterfinal Games for Class 2A will be played on Wednesday July 5th.
