Spencer, IA (KICD)– The Spencer Regional Healthcare Foundation is beginning to take contributions for an annual project that adds some beauty to the park area along Grand Avenue.

Executive Director Sara Taylor says the Garden of Life is something the hospital staff look forward to every year from both the visual and giving aspects.

Once donations are collected, the process of getting an actual plant in the ground will begin.

The funds raised through this specific project are then used in a number of different ways to benefit patients of Spencer Hospital.

Those wanting to contribute to the Garden of Life can send donations via mail or drop off in person at the hospital, using Venmo or by going through the hospital website.
