Spencer, IA (KICD)– Spencer Hospital is celebrating its history to kick off the month of May.

Vice President of Marketing and Fund Development Susan Zulk joined us for Saturday’s Weekly Health Update noting we are now officially in National Nurses Week and Hospital Week.

Zulk is also looking back at the rich history of Spencer Hospital dating back more than a century in preparation for a special presentation taking place on Tuesday.

Tuesday’s presentation is kicking off the Spencer Historic Preservation Commission’s May Lecture Series. It will begin at 5:30 in Council Chambers at Spencer City Hall and also streamed on the City of Spencer Facebook page.
