Spencer, IA (KICD)– The start of the new school year is just a few weeks away which means it is time to start preparing kids to hit the books.

Darcie Follon from Clay County Public Health says there are several things to keep in mind from bed times to meal planning.

Then there are the immunizations that are required for specific age groups.

Special “Back to School” clinics are being held Thursdays at Clay County Public Health with rotating morning and afternoon appointment times available by going to the Spencer Hospital website or by calling 264-6685.
