Worthington, MN (KICD)– A Worthington man has been charged for his alleged role in a Nobles County sexual abuse case dating back to earlier this year.

A criminal complaint filed by the Worthington Police Department alleges 25-year-old Azael (Ay-zeal) Lopez Marroquin sexually abused a 12-year-old girl on multiple occasions beginning in February.

Lopez Marroquin stands charged with one count of criminal sexual conduct. If convicted he faces up to thirty years behind bars and 40-thousand dollar fine.
