Spencer, Ia (KICD) – Wave 1 hit the course again at the Spencer Golf and Country Club for their second round of the 102nd Northwest Amateur.
After hitting four under on Thursday Morning, Northwest Am Dennis Bull bested that with a 6 under Par for his second round, giving him -10 and a hold of first place for now.
Norwalk, Iowa’s Bull has had some success, but is still trying to snag that Northwest Am Championship. He talked about what it will take to do so.
Arthur, Iowa’s Axton Miller turned in another strong outing, hitting 2 below Par for his second round, which gives him 6 under before the cut. Miller said he had some troubles off the tee early on.
Miller, a Iowa High School State Golf Champion for OABCIG, is in his 3rd year at the Northwest Am. He talked about some of the things he’s picked up on in his reps at the Spencer Golf and Country Club.
