Iowa City, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – The 2025 Boys State Swimming Championships were held in Iowa City Friday February 15th and Saturday February 16th.

Owen Van Otterloo – 100y Breaststroke 

Owen Van Otterloo broke into the State Meet with the 100y Breaststroke. during the year, Van Otterloo broke a long-standing school record in the event and says that was part of a surge of momentum in the second half of the year.

Oliver Miller – 500y Freestyle

Oliver Miller fell short of the State meet a season ago in the 500y Freestyle. Miller says preparation has been the biggest difference maker for him this year.

Ray Kaiser – 100y Backstroke

Ray Kaiser was on the outside of the bubble going into the district meet for the 100y Backstroke. Kaiser put together his best race of the season at the right moment in order to qualify.
