Arnolds Park (Northwest Iowa Now) — The 2025 U of O Winter Games is quickly approaching in January – and one of the main attractions is the Chili Cook-Off – which will be Friday, January 24th.

The Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber said this event will be from 5-7pm at the Dickinson County Expo Building and they’re in need of Chili Cook-off teams. Interested teams can fill out the online entry form at uofowintergames.com. Because of space constraints, there is a limit of 27 teams.

This year’s theme is “no games too big, no tailgate too small” – teams are encouraged to throw a tailgate with your favorite team. Prizes will be awarded for Best Overall Chili; Best Non-Profit and Best Booth.
