A few KICD area schools went to the Humboldt Cross Country meet on Monday.

The Girls race had West Bend-Mallard’s Tyra Schupbach run a time of 20:06.92 to finish 1st. North Union’s Alexis Cummins would take 9th with a time of 22:11.32.

St. Edmond of Fort Dodge won the girls team title with 61 points. West Bend-Mallard took 7th, Estherville Lincoln Central 8th, Newell-Fonda 9th, and Emmetsburg 10th.

In the Boys race, it was Hayden Thompson of Lake Mills winning with a time of 17:21.69. Estherville Lincoln Central’s Warren Duitsman was 9th with a time of 18:40.25.

The Team title went to Lake Mills with 27 points. Estherville Lincoln Central was 8th, Newell-Fonda 10th, and Pocahontas Area finished 11th.
