Orange City, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, Sheldon, Sibley-Ocheyedan, and Spirit Lake competed at the Dutch Relays in Orange City Thursday night.
In the Boys 3200m Run, Carter Trautman of Spirit Lake was the winner with a time of 10:22.05.
Spirit Lake’s Girls 4x100m Shuttle Hurdle Relay team of Duvall, Sinz, Wassenaar, and Bolluyt ran a time of 1:10.55 to take first.
For the Boys 1600m Distance Medley Relay, Spirit Lake’s team of Grau, Higgins, Hagedorn, and Hungerford won with a time of 3:34.89.
Sibley-Ocheyedan’s Boys 4x200m Relay team of Marco, Heilman, Kreykes, and Marco was 1st with a time of 1:32.28.
Elanor Sinz of Spirit Lake took 1st in the Girls 100m Hurdles with a time of 17.41 seconds.
Spirit Lake’s Kyle Grau won the Boys 200m Dash with a time of 22.88 seconds.
In the Girls 400m Hurdles, Elanor Sinz of Spirit Lake picked up the win with a time of 1:10.25.
For the Boys 400m Hurdles, Tate Marco of Sibley-Ocheyedan won with a time of 55.56 seconds.
The Spirit Lake Girls’ 4x400m Relay team of Petersen, Bruinsma, Leupold, and Sinz won with a time of 4:14.09.
In the Boys Shot Put, Gage Greenfield of Sibley-Ocheyedan won with a throw of 50’4”.
For the Girls Long Jump, it was Anabel Sinz of Spirit Lake winning with a mark of 16’11.5”.
Spirit Lake won the Girls team title with 131 points. Sibley-Ocheyedan took 7th and Sheldon was 8th.
In the Boys team scores, MOC-Floyd Valley won with 124 points. Spirit Lake and Sioux Center tied for 2nd with 107. Sibley-Ocheyedan was 6th and Sheldon took 8th.
