Spencer IA, (Northwest Iowa Now) – The Iowa State Patrol has identified August 2024 as Aggressive Driver Enforcement Month.

Trooper Kevin Krull with the Iowa State Patrol spoke with KICD about August being one of the deadliest months in the last five years.

Krull says that numbers for this year are down statewide.

Krull spoke about what makes Fridays in August so dangerous.

According to the Iowa State patrol in August Fridays are the worst, but Thursdays and Saturdays come in close.
